The Region: In a region where mostly there are no real liberals left or liberals who are too afraid to speak, I try to provide a platform to present and analyze life in the region, with specific emphasis on Egypt, from a true liberal perspective.
The "Arab Spring": After the "Arab Spring" liberalism in the Middle East is facing a vicious smear campaign (liberalism was always under-attack in the region, but things are worse with the Islamists in power). Unfortunately, liberals are losing ground and in their attempt to survive are sacrificing many of their core principles.
Liberal Koshari is not "monetized". In other words, I do not accept donations or allow advertising on Liberal Koshari.
