Egyptians Need Philosophy In Their Life


With all the political developments in Egypt, crumbling of service delivery and the turmoil the country will endure over the coming weeks and years, it sounds elitist and even foreign to discuss philosophy. However, a recent post by Jean Kazez titled "Why Philosophy Helps" lists some of the benefits of philosophy and teaching it made me think of what we're missing in Egypt, in addition to water and electricity.
